TLG Academy’s Terms of Service (the "Agreement") outline the conditions governing your use of TLG Academy's internet platforms ("the Academy", "we", "our", or "us"). The platforms, including any content, features, and services provided on them, whether accessed as a guest or registered user, collectively constitute the "Services". This Agreement establishes a legally binding agreement between you and TLG Academy. By downloading or using the Services, or by clicking to accept or agree to the Agreement, or to apply for enrollment, or to subscribe, or similar actions when prompted, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement. You also acknowledge our Privacy Policy and all other policies posted on the Services or provided by us, which may be updated periodically. All these policies, as modified, are incorporated into this Agreement by reference. TLG Academy reserves the right to update this Agreement or the Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these documents each time you access the Services. Your continued use of the Services implies your acceptance of any revisions. If you disagree with any part of this Agreement, you must refrain from creating an account on TLG Academy's platforms or accessing or using the Services in any capacity.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By utilising the research services provided by TLG Academy, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our services.

2. Service Description

TLG Academy specializes in providing comprehensive research services tailored to the unique needs of students pursuing academic excellence. Our services encompass a wide range of assistance including, but not limited to, topic selection, literature review, data collection and analysis, methodology development, report writing, and presentation preparation. Our team comprises experienced researchers and academic experts who are dedicated to providing personalized support and guidance at every stage of the research process, ensuring that students receive high-quality assistance to excel in their academic endeavors.

3. Payment and Fees

Clients are required to pay a non-refundable deposit upon engaging TLG Academy's research services. The deposit amount will be communicated to the client prior to the commencement of the service and must be paid in full to secure the service.The remaining balance of the service fee must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon between TLG Academy and the client. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or termination of the service, at TLG Academy's discretion.

4. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

TLG Academy acknowledges and respects the intellectual property rights of its clients. Any original work, research findings, reports, or other materials produced by TLG Academy on behalf of a client remain the intellectual property of the client. TLG Academy agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all aspects of the client's research project, including but not limited to project details, data, findings, and any other information shared by the client. TLG Academy will not disclose any such information to third parties without the client's explicit written consent, except as required by South African law.

5. Termination and Suspension

TLG Academy reserves the right to terminate or suspend a client's access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. In the event of termination or suspension, the client shall remain liable for any outstanding fees owed to TLG Academy.

6. Modifications and Survival

TLG Academy may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including but not limited to features, content, or availability. Such modifications may be made without prior notice. The provisions of this Agreement relating to payment, confidentiality, intellectual property, and any other provisions necessary for the interpretation or enforcement of this Agreement shall survive termination or expiration and remain in full force and effect.

7. Data Rights and Protection

TLG Academy respects the privacy and data rights of its clients and is committed to complying with South African law, including privacy and terms of service laws. Any personal information collected from clients will be handled in accordance with TLG Academy's Privacy Policy, as well as relevant South African privacy laws. Clients retain ownership of any data or information provided to TLG Academy for the purpose of conducting research. TLG Academy will take reasonable measures to protect such data and information from unauthorized access or disclosure, in compliance with South African privacy laws and terms of service laws. TLG Academy will not use client data for any purpose other than providing research services unless explicit consent is obtained from the client and in compliance with South African privacy laws and terms of service laws. Additionally, TLG Academy will not sell or disclose client data to third parties for marketing or other purposes without the client's express consent, except as required by South African law and in compliance with terms of service laws.
